Spoilers forward…

The movie has its share of points. But the core of “why do bad things happen to good people?” rings true.

Anupam Patnaik’s ‘Pratikshya’ (Odia) is an affecting household drama about father-son friction and much more

There are many issues to consider in Anupam Patnaik’s Pratikshya. One: Why do unhealthy issues occur to good individuals? Two: Why do sons wrestle to attach with their fathers? Three: Is it unhealthy to need one thing unhealthy to occur to somebody if it’ll profit you? But let’s start with the federal government worker named Bipin (Choudhury Jayaprakash Das). His colleague has been sitting on a file, ready for a bribe to make it transfer. But when Bipin will get to know of this, he asks for the file and clears it. The colleague is just not a foul man, precisely. He is one among many who has gotten used to some further pocket cash. He is a buddy, and he’s really involved when Bipin complains of a abdomen ache. This is a screenplay that takes care to verify the truth that nobody is totally a saint, and nobody is totally  a sinner. Everyone exists with shades of gray.
