The Directors Guild of America has introduced the administrators competing for the highest function movie prize at its seventy fifth annual DGA Awards, and nil of the nominees are ladies: potential contenders like Gina Prince-Bythewood (“The Woman King”) and Sarah Polley (“Women Talking”) have been shut out of the race.
Women dominate the First-Time Feature Film Prize class, accounting for 4 of 5 nominees.
