Estimates by the Trade Association of São Paulo (ACSP) level out that the Brazilian inhabitants transferred R$2.89 trillion (US$540 billion) in taxes to the federal authorities, in accordance with info from the “Impostômetro” (taxometer).
The index considers the quantity collected by federal, state and municipal governments, together with charges, contributions, fines, curiosity and financial correction.
