Longtime pals Matthieu Yamoum and Philippe Vasilescu have taken their mixed love for a memorable beverage to the following stage with the opening of a subtle premium spirits-driven retail store. Dubbed Maison Mura, which interprets from the French to “home of fine moments,” it provides patrons an opportunity to peruse 1000’s of bottles of wine and spirits, interesting to the spectrum of wine lovers, from amateurs to collectors. The venue features a lounge with all-day bites and a 12-person personal tasting room. Turkish avenue meals has made its strategy to Miami by way of Smorgasburg with the latest launch of Wet Burger. The new weekend vendor prepares a conventional tackle Istanbul’s Islak-style hamburger, a beef patty cradled in a mushy white bun that’s doused with a garlicky, tomato-based sauce and left to sweat inside a steam field till served. The burgers are served moist and heat, packing a savory punch because of the spicy sauce, the important thing ingredient to creating these “moist” burgers that make for the proper post-drinking snack. Noon to 7 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
