American Theatre is proud to be the venue for Theatrical Mustang, an independently produced podcast from actor-writer-activist Woodzick. Each month they’ll carry listeners interviews with unbridled expertise and cultural trailblazers from throughout the nation.
This month, they converse to founder and producing creative director of Boulder-based sq. product theatre, Emily Ok. Harrison. Emily’s work focuses totally on the creation and improvement of latest and modern works of American theatre and on explorations of American mythology, violence, and catastrophe in efficiency. In addition to her work with sq. product, Harrison has collaborated on initiatives with Buntport Theater, Hoarded Stuff Performance, Screw Tooth, Joanna & the Agitators, the Denver Center for the Performing Arts, the Colorado Shakespeare Festival, the Texas Shakespeare Festival, and the Boulder International Fringe Festival.
Emily, who holds an MFA in Performance from the Savannah College of Art & Design and a Ph.D. in Theatre and Performance Studies from the University of Colorado Boulder, at present serves as assistant professor of theatre at Hamilton College in Clinton, N.Y. Previous tutorial appointments embody visiting, lecturer, and visitor artist engagements at Sewanee: The University of the South, Whitman College, Brunel University London (UK), the University of Colorado Boulder, Naropa University, and the University of Northern Colorado.
