Actor Bob Penny, who scored minor roles within the movies “Forrest Gump” and “Sweet Home Alabama,” has died.
Bob handed away in Huntsville, Alabama on Christmas Day, in line with a web-based obit from Laughlin Service Funeral Home. His reason behind demise was not disclosed.
Penny was a bit half actor in dozens of movies and TV reveals throughout his lengthy profession stretching again to the ’80s. Some of his film credit embrace, “Mississippi Burning,” “My Cousin Vinny” and “The Legend of Bagger Vance.” He played a “crony” in “Forrest Gump,” and a bumbling, small-town lawyer in “Sweet Home Alabama.” He also landed a role in the TV series “In the Heat of the Night.”
He started his appearing profession doing TV commercials for an area division retailer and advert campaigns for The United Way.
Bob was 87.
