Brazil’s public debt ends 2022 at lowest stage in 5 years


According to the Ministry of Economy, the overall authorities’s gross debt will finish in 2022 at its lowest stage in 5 years.

In the analysis report of main revenues and bills printed final Thursday (Dec. 22), the group of Minister Paulo Guedes projected a debt equal to 73.7% of the Gross Domestic Product (GDP) on the finish of this 12 months, the identical stage as in Dec. 2017.

In the identical doc, the ministry raised from R$ 23.4 (US$4.5) billion to R$ 34.1 billion, the estimated main surplus of the federal authorities this 12 months.
