Zeitgeist Films and Kino Lorber have landed world rights to seven Yvonne Rainer movies, newly restored in 4K by The Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) and the Celeste Bartos Fund for Film Preservation. A press launch introduced that the gathering will display screen throughout a theatrical retrospective on the Metrograph February 17. The “Privilege” director can even make an in-person look on opening night time.
The function restorations from Rainer’s experimental movie oeuvre span three a long time.
