Megan Thee Stallion spent an emotional 4 hours on the stand, delivering testimony on Tuesday within the trial of Tory Lanez, who has been accused of taking pictures the favored rapper after a Los Angeles social gathering in 2020.
The Savage rapper, whose actual identify is Megan Pete, supplied an in-depth account of the alleged taking pictures, which left her with bullet fragments in her toes.

“I wish he would’ve just shot and killed me if I knew I was going to have to go through this torture,” Pete mentioned of Canadian-born rapper Lanez, whose actual identify is Daystar Peterson.
The taking pictures occurred after Pete, Peterson, Peterson’s bodyguard and Pete’s former pal Kelsey Harris left a celebration at Kylie Jenner’s Los Angeles residence in July 2020. Pete testified an argument between her and Peterson spurred the taking pictures.
Pete claimed that Peterson, 30, was upset as a result of she had requested to depart Jenner’s social gathering early. When Peterson allegedly revealed to Harris that Pete and Peterson had a sexual relationship, the scenario escalated, she mentioned. She testified Peterson known as each girls a derogatory phrase and started to bicker about their musical careers.
When Pete requested to be set free of the automobile, she claimed Peterson fired a gunshot as she walked away and shouted “Dance, b—h!”

Peterson has denied ever taking pictures Pete. Instead, his lawyer George Mgdesyan instructed the Los Angeles courtroom a jealous argument between Pete and Harris impressed the taking pictures. Though Mgdesyan didn’t say Harris shot Pete (a long-since-held principle amongst staunch Peterson supporters), he claimed Peterson’s DNA was not discovered on the weapon.

In courtroom on Tuesday, Pete mentioned the general public backlash to her claims has been “torture.” She particularly referenced the plethora of male rappers who’ve sided with Peterson.
Even Drake made reference to the taking pictures within the 2022 observe Circo Loco, the place he implied that he didn’t imagine Pete’s claims.
