Former First Lady Michelle Obama has been making her media rounds whereas selling her new e-book. In her newest public look on Jimmy Kimmel Live, Michelle spoke about life since leaving the White House, Christmas decor, household journeys, and parenting.
At one level, Jimmy requested the creator a couple of viral video involving her husband and former President Barack Obama. Back in October, Obama spoke at a Democratic marketing campaign rally in Detroit, Michigan, per PEOPLE.
During the speech, Obama started explaining that “sometimes going on a campaign trail feels a little harder than it used to, not just because I am older and grayer…” Before he may end his assertion, a praise slipped via the group’s laughter. A girl had yelled, “you still fine than a motherf****r.”
Obama, flashing a large grin, repeated a PG model of the praise, telling the group, “I don’t know if y’all heard that…she said I was so fine.” The former president stored the praise going with a jokey joke saying, “I’m not gon’ tell Michelle you said that, although Michelle does agree, she knows.”

Barack Obama DID Tell Michelle Obama About The Moment
Turns out Barack did share the second along with his spouse–virtually instantly after getting dwelling. But the primary time Michelle truly noticed the second was throughout Jimmy Kimmel Live.
The former First Lady set free a wide-grin chuckle as quickly as the lady spoke the praise. When Barack requested the lady to say the praise once more after which repeated it into the mic, Michelle laughed out loud. Michelle stored her response all through the entire clip playa–all smiles and laughter for the lighthearted second.
“I hadn’t seen that. I heard about it,” Michelle mentioned. “He came home, and that’s the first thing he said. I was like, ‘how’d it go?’ [He said] ‘somebody said I was fine.’ I was like ‘oh really, that’s so sweet.”
Then, Jimmy being Jimmy, requested Obama if she shared comparable tales with Barack. She jokingly shut that down.
“No, he doesn’t need to know all my business,” Michelle mentioned.
Former First Lady Says They Welcome The ‘Boring Times’ In Their Home Now
These days, when she isn’t selling The Light We Carry and Barack isn’t on post-presidential duties, the pair spend time at dwelling. And one factor they love? Basking of their “boring times.” Michelle says they welcome boredom after almost a decade on the head of the nation.
“There are tons of boring times, which we love, we need…After eight years in the White House, you want desperately to have…we celebrate the boring times,” Michelle mentioned. “We look at each other and go, what are you doing? Nothing! We’re like, yes.”
