According to the Bandcamp description, TrillStatik 2 was “recorded live in front of the world” two days in the past at NYC rooster and waffles spot Sweet Chick’s Lower East Side location. Although too easy to return throughout like a stay album, that in-person vitality is palpable on TrillStatik 2. It’s not going to vary your life, however Statik’s beats are arduous and vibrant, Bun’s easy drawl sounds as authoritative as ever on the mic, and everybody concerned sounds excited to take part.
