Manila Electric Co. introduced on Friday a rise of P0.3297 per kilowatt-hour in electrical energy charges.
This brings the price of electrical energy for a typical family to P10.2769 per kWh this December from final month’s P9.9472 per kWh.
For residential prospects consuming 200 kWh, that is equal to a rise of about P66 of their December electrical energy invoice.
“This month’s general price improve was primarily because of the completion of a distribution-related refund equal to P0.4669 per kWh for residential prospects,” stated Meralco in an announcement….
