Theatre-mad Bobby Child is torn between his show-business desires and working the household financial institution. He reluctantly heads west to Deadrock, Nevada, to foreclose on a theatre’s mortgage, solely to fall for the theatre proprietor’s daughter, Polly. Desperate to show his good religion, Bobby decides to placed on a present – full with dancers from the glamorous Zangler Follies in New York City – to avoid wasting the theatre, renew the city and hopefully win Polly’s love.
