Designed particularly to enchantment to each lovers of classical music, and people who are new to the artform, Handel’s Messiah: The Live Experience on the Theatre Royal, Drury Lane, on 6 Dec 2022 will launch a brand new fashion classical music live performance expertise. This first work is centred on one of the well-known works ever written and essentially the most chosen piece of music ever on Desert Island Discs – Handel’s Messiah.

With world-class musicians and revolutionary and imaginative lighting design, visible results, choreography and staging, the occasion guarantees to immerse audiences in a strong and theatrical new setting for Handel’s much-loved musical telling of the story of Christ – with its common human themes of start, hope, pleasure, struggling, sacrifice and redemption.

Stars embody: Danielle de Niese who has been hailed as “opera’s coolest soprano” by New York Times Magazine. Danielle recurrently seems on the world’s most prestigious opera and live performance phases and is a prolific recording artist, TV character and philanthropist.

Winner of the BBC Musician Magazine Personality of the Year 2022, Opera Singer Nicky Spence who can be identified to audiences as a decide and mentor on Sky Arts’ TV present Anyone can sing and lead presenter in Sky’s upcoming TV documentary Football Fan to Opera Star.

English National Opera common and “creamy-toned high soprano” (The Arts Desk) Idunnu Münch and American Bass-Baritone Cody Quattlebaum, recommended by Opera News as “a powerhouse, commanding of presence, virile of sound, and articulate even in the swiftest exchanges” make up the quartet

Under the baton of conductor Gregory Batsleer, Artistic Director and founding member of Classical Everywhere, these spectacular internationally acclaimed artists will carry out alongside the English Chamber Orchestra and London Symphony Chorus.

Classical Everywhere’s imaginative and prescient is to carry collectively the world’s biggest classical musicians and music with excellent venues and artistic and imaginative staging. The purpose is to boost the narrative and emotional energy of the music to create an evocative, exhilarating and entertaining classical expertise that may enchantment to ever wider audiences.

They will carry out an edited model of Handel’s enduring masterpiece, liked primarily for the sheer magnificence and energy of its music with its well-known choruses and well-known melodies.
