(Opinion) Could a clean piece of paper held excessive over a demonstrator’s head say greater than an image or a thousand phrases?
Ask the Chinese protestor who is sort of sensibly and guardedly more likely to let you know that “you can’t censor people if they don’t say anything”. That’s an enormously highly effective and nuanced assertion; the clean paper is a sign image.
Think, if you’ll, of all of the highly effective, memorable, historic, poetic, and unforgettable phrases and pictures which have crammed historical past’s clean pages and introduced them to life, usually creating monumental adjustments in tradition and society . . .
