LUCENA CITY — A suspected member of the New People’s Army (NPA) surrendered to the police in Quezon province on Thursday, December 1, authorities mentioned.
According to Police Regional Office 4A, the insurgent, recognized solely as “Ka SK/Rosgen,” turned himself in to the headquarters of the police’s 405th Maneuver Company in Barangay Anoling in Gen. Nakar city.
The alleged insurgent turned over a caliber 38 revolver, bullets, and communist paperwork.
Police mentioned the insurgent returnee reportedly operated within the provinces of Bulacan, Rizal, Laguna, and Northern Quezon part of the Sierra Madre mountain ranges.
