Warwick Davis is aware of an epic story when he sees one. The man who made his mark in two franchises — as Wicket the Ewok in Star Wars and each Griphook and Filius Flitwick in Harry Potter — says he “always wanted to revisit the character” that positioned him on the middle of all of the motion: the title would-be sorcerer from Ron Howard’s 1988 fantasy movie Willow.
Davis’ want is granted on this collection that takes place a long time after Willow helped ship a child — the longer term’s supposed savior — to Queen Sorsha (Joanne Whalley, who additionally returns), safeguarding peace of their rural world.
