(Opinion) Amidst dozens of debates, proposals, and conferences, an initiative of 14 multinational buying and selling corporations, with the potential for huge impression on meals manufacturing in Brazil, nearly went unnoticed through the twenty seventh United Nations Climate Conference (COP27), held within the resort of Sharm El-Sheikh, Egypt.
Convened by the governments of the United Kingdom and the United States, the worldwide agricultural commodities commerce giants launched at COP27 a joint plan to fight deforestation and land use conversion, focusing on the 2 largest Brazilian biomes: the Amazon and the Cerrado.
