IFC Films has acquired North American rights to “Biosphere,” producer Mel Eslyn’s characteristic directorial debut. A press launch introduced that the sci-fi comedy will likely be launched in 2023 with streaming to comply with solely on AMC+.
Written by Eslyn and Mark Duplass, “Biosphere” is ready within the “not-so-distant future” and sees “The Morning Show’s” Duplass and “This Is Us” alumna Sterling K. Brown taking part in the final two males on Earth. The finest buddies — and their relationship — should evolve if they’ve any hope of saving humanity.
“Biosphere” premiered at this 12 months’s Toronto International Film Festival.

Eslyn’s producing credit embody Lynn Shelton’s “Outside In” and Natalie Morales’ “Language Lessons.” Acclaimed docuseries “The Lady and the Dale” and Clea DuVall’s “The Intervention” are amongst her exec producing credit.
