Kelly Rowland has reportedly doubled down on her current help for Chris Brown.
Last Sunday (November 20), Brown received the Favourite Male R&B Artist statue on the American Music Awards in Los Angeles, California. After his identify was introduced, boos had been heard from the viewers on the venue.

The controversial singer didn’t attend the ceremony, with Rowland accepting the award on his behalf. Acknowledging the response from the gang, the previous Destiny’s Child member mentioned: “Excuse me. Chill out.”
Rowland continued: “I want to tell Chris: thank you so much for making great music. And I want to tell him: thank you for being an incredible performer. I’ll take this award and bring it to you, I love you! Congratulations, and congratulations to all the nominees in this category.”
According to TMZ (through Variety), Rowland additional defended Brown whereas chatting with a videographer concerning the AMA second on Monday (November 21).
“I believe that grace is very real, and we all need a dose of it,” she defined. “And earlier than we level fingers at anyone, we must always realise how grateful we’re for each second we get.
“We all need to be forgiven for anything that we could be doing – we all come up short in some sort of way. Grace is real, and we are humans, and everybody deserves grace, period.”
Back in 2009, Brown was notably convicted for assaulting his then-girlfriend Rihanna. The singer was sentenced to 5 years’ probation and 180 days of neighborhood labour. Additionally, he was required to finish a one-year home violence counselling programme.
Brown has since been accused of assault a number of instances. Last 12 months, Brown was underneath police investigation after a lady alleged he had “smacked the back of her head so hard her weave came off”. That case was in the end dismissed as a consequence of “insufficient evidence”.
