ISTANBUL — Turkish authorities mentioned the Kurdish YPG militia had fired 5 rockets from northern Syria on Monday, killing three individuals and wounding others in a Turkish border district following cross-border militaryoperationsat the weekend.
The rockets hit a college, two homes, and a truck in theKarkamisdistrict, close to a border gate in Gaziantep province, the governor Davut Gul mentioned, including six had been wounded.Interior Minister Suleyman Soylu later mentioned three had died.
Broadcaster CNN Turk mentioned the rockets had been fired from the Kobani space of Syria, managed by the YPG.
