Travis Fimmel has been tapped because the male lead reverse Emily Watson and Shirley Henderson in HBO Max’s collection Dune: The Sisterhood (wt), from Legendary Television.
The collection, based mostly on Frank Herbert’s basic novel, is ready 10,000 years earlier than the ascension of Paul Atreides and follows the Harkonnen Sisters, performed by Watson and Henderson, as they fight forces that threaten the way forward for humankind, and set up the fabled sect generally known as the Bene Gesserit.
Fimmel will play Desmond Hart, a charismatic soldier with an enigmatic previous who seeks to realize the Emperor’s belief on the expense of the Sisterhood. In addition to Watson and Henderson, Fimmel joins beforehand forged Indira Varma, Sarah-Sofie Boussnina, Shalom Brune-Franklin, Faoileann Cunningham, Aoife Hinds and Chloe Lea.
