The eight-episode third and closing season of HIS DARK MATERIALS will debut MONDAY, DECEMBER 5 (9:00-11:00 p.m. ET/PT) with two back-to-back episodes on HBO and shall be accessible to stream on HBO Max. Two new episodes will debut every week main as much as the sequence finale on December 26.

Season 3 logline: Based on “The Amber Spyglass,” the ultimate novel in Philip Pullman’s award-winning trilogy, within the closing chapter of this epic fantasy sequence, Lyra (Dafne Keen), the prophesied little one, and Will (Amir Wilson), the bearer of The Subtle Knife, should journey to a darkish place from which nobody has ever returned. As her father’s nice warfare towards the Authority edges nearer, they’ll be taught that saving the worlds comes at a horrible value.
