Michaela’s love life is simply as sophisticated because the mysteries with Flight 828. At the tip of season 3, Zeke heard Jared profess his love for Michaela, giving the love triangle much more hearth. HollywoodLife spoke EXCLUSIVELY with Matt Long and J.R. Ramirez in regards to the fallout of that second in Manifest season 4.
“Two years have passed since that moment, and we do have the talk,” Matt informed HollywoodLife through the present’s press junket. “That the last thing Zeke said to Michaela was we need to talk, and we do see that talk in a flashback. It’s one of the most memorable scenes of the first half of the season for me, so that will be there for the fans. I don’t want to say too much. Just enjoy. You’ll see. It’ll all be there.”
For J.R., Jared’s newest declaration didn’t actually shock him that a lot. “I mean, let’s be real. He’s said that more than once at this point. He is throwing that truth bomb her way quite a few times at this point,” Jared mentioned.
He revealed that season 4 Jared is his “favorite interpretation” of the character to date. “I think there’s a lot of reflection that has happened over the span of two years,” he continued. “He’s obviously, like you said, threw out a truth bomb at the end of season 3, and you’ll kind of see the repercussions of what that all means. There’s a sense of he gambled, and he put it all out there. Again, I can’t say much, but we’ll see what happens. But there’s a sense of reflection that I like to say that you see in Jared this year. He’s a little bit lighter. They’ve given him some great little one-liners throughout the season, and it’s been really fun to play this time.”
Grace’s demise on the finish of season 3 left the Stone household devastated. “There’s been a lot of time to process that, but it’s still so lingering and is dominating a lot of the characters’ lives. We do see a lot of flashbacks to that two-year gap, so you’ll see glimpses of their lives as they process her absence and her death and the repercussions of that,” Matt mentioned.
Jared will likely be serving to Ben, Michaela, and the remainder of the household as finest he can, specializing in the investigation of “this massive looming ticking time bomb that they have over them, which is a death date. He puts his life on the line all the time for them, and this season is no different.” Part 1 of Manifest season 4 premieres November 4 on Netflix.
