MANILA, Philippines — The reported deaths left by Tropical StormPaenghave climbed to 122, the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council(NDRRMC) stated on Wednesday.
Of these deaths, 92 have been confirmed and 30 are nonetheless for validation.
Most of the deaths, 61, have been brought on by flash floods and landslides in Maguindanao del Norte.
The different deaths have been reported as follows:
Western Visayas — 29
Calabarzon– 12
Eastern Visayas — 5
Zamboanga Peninsula — 4
Soccsksargen — 3
Mimaropa — 3
Central Visayas — 2
Central Luzon — 1
Bicol — 1
Cordillera Administrative Region — 1
A complete of 103 have been injured and 36 remained lacking.
