MANILA, Philippines — The Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) on Sunday stated it has but to obtain reviews of Filipino victims within the Halloween stampede within the Itaewon District in Seoul, South Korea which resulted in no less than 149 deaths and scores of accidents.
Two of the fatalities had been international nationals, the DFA stated in a press release Sunday.
“The Embassy is carefully monitoring the state of affairs and is in coordination with native authorities in case any Filipino nationwide has been affected. To date the Embassy has but to obtain reviews of any Filipino sufferer within the stampede,” the DFA stated.
