Marvel’s Kevin Feige commented on the studio’s X-Men and Young Avengers plans through the world premiere of Black Panther: Wakanda Forever.
Deadline had the chance to talk with Kevin Feige on the purple carpet of Black Panther: Wakanda Forever in Hollywood. During their dialogue, Feige was requested in regards to the X-Men and the Young Avengers, two iconic comedian e-book groups that followers have been ready to see within the Marvel Cinematic Universe because it continues to develop the Multiverse saga.
Kevin Feige wouldn’t reveal a lot in regards to the X-Men, referencing a joke from the ultimate episode of the Disney Plus collection She-Hulk. However, Feige did tease that we’re getting nearer to their MCU debut, as evidenced by the current information that Disney plans to launch a brand new Deadpool film in 2024, that includes the Merc with the Mouth and Wolverine, a basic X-Men hero.
“That’s what Jennifer Walters just asked the robot in the final episode of She-Hulk. And I’ll give you the same answer that he gave, which was, I don’t remember, no answer. I think that’s what he gave, yes,” Feige joked. “But with Deadpool and Wolverine, you know, we’re getting close.”
As for the Young Avengers, Kevin Feige identified that Marvel has already began introducing members of the workforce in its motion pictures and tv exhibits, teasing that they might ultimately meet up.
“Well, I think people pick up what we’re putting down sometimes. And we take our cues from the comics,” Feige mentioned. “And yes, you know, introducing as many characters as we can from the comics is what I’ve spent the last twenty-two years doing. And those are among the many that we’ve introduced.”
