AMERICAN THEATRE | NJRep Names Dee Dee Irwin as Managing Director

LONG BRANCH, N.J.: Dee Dee Irwin has been introduced the brand new managing director of New Jersey’s Repertory Theatre. As managing director—a brand new function on the theatre, whose management crew contains inventive director SuzAnne Barabas and government producer Gabor Barabas—Irwin’s tasks will embrace viewers improvement, strategic planning, operations, expertise, training, advertising, and group outreach for the group.

A local of Los Angeles, Irwin has labored in theatre and occasion manufacturing, and advertising and improvement for industrial and nonprofit organizations. She beforehand served as director of selling and communications and affiliate producer at California’s Laguna Playhouse, the place she labored for 9 years, supporting the theatre’s scope of productions and group programming, overseeing the a centesimal anniversary branding marketing campaign, and implementing methods that elevated ticket income.

In a press release, NJRep government director Gabor Barabas stated of Irwin, “Her passion for the arts, combined with her extensive background in supporting new and innovative theatre, is a perfect match for us.”
