MANILA, Philippines — Senate Majority Leader Joel Villanueva on Saturday urged the federal government to handle the longstanding problems with contractualization and unfilled authorities positions.
According to Villanueva, there are at current 642,077 Job Order (JO) or Contract of Service (COS) staff within the authorities.
“We have been elevating the difficulty of unfilled positions in authorities throughout price range hearings since we turned a senator in 2016, and the variety of JOs and COS staff in authorities stays an issue.
