Shipwreck off Brazilian coast leaves one vacationer useless and two lacking


One vacationer died and two others are lacking when a fishing boat wrecked this Saturday within the Atlantic Ocean, off the coast of the Brazilian metropolis of Bertioga, within the state of São Paulo (southeast).

According to a press launch from the Sao Paulo state police, 9 crew members had been rescued unhurt after the boat capsized within the early morning.

The vacationers, all Brazilian nationals, had chartered the tour boat for a fishing tour.

“They had been returning to return the boat,” stated Joao Casagrande, spokesman for the Maritime Fire Brigade, in command of the search.
