Veteran actor Sameer Khakhar passes away at 71


The veteran actor Sameer Khakhar, greatest recognized for his position within the Eighties basic Nukkad, handed away on the age of 71. He stated Sameer had skilled some respiratory points yesterday morning, after they known as the physician, he informed them to get him admitted. “We took him to the hospital & he was admitted to ICU. He then had a number of organ failures & right now at 4.30 am he handed away. He was 71,” he stated.

Speaking about his demise, Hansal Mehta took to Twitter and shared a heartfelt publish. He wrote, “For some purpose, I used to be nicknamed Khopdi in school after his iconic character in Nukkad. My closest mates from the time nonetheless name me Khopdi. But I assume it’s time to say goodbye to the OG. Goodbye, Sameer Khakhar. Thank you for the recollections.”




Sameer Khakhar was recognized for his roles in Nukkad and Shrimaan Shrimati. He made appearances in Bollywood movies reminiscent of Hasee Toh Phasee, starring Parineeti Chopra and Sidharth Malhotra, Vikas Bahl’s net sequence Sunflower, Sudhir Mishra’s Serious Men, and Salman Khan’s Jai Ho.
