The Philippine Rice Research Institute (PhilRice) will distribute greater than P3 billion value of inbred rice seeds to farmers nationwide to bolster the rice selection’s manufacturing.
In a press release, PhilRice stated it’s set at hand out 4.27 million baggage (20 kilograms per bag) of licensed inbred rice seeds this 2023 wet—2024 dry cropping season.
