Gasoline and diesel costs up, kerosene barely down

MANILA, Philippines — Pump costs of gasoline and diesel will likely be raised by P0.90 and  P1.05 per liter, respectively, beginning Tuesday, Feb 21.

The worth of kerosene will likely be rolled again by P0.25 per liter.

In separate advisories on Monday, native oil companies introduced their  gasoline worth adjustment schedule:

Caltex (12:01 a.m.)

The worth hikes come after two weeks of gasoline worth rollbacks.

According to the Department of Energy, the 2 essential causes for the upward worth adjustment are Russia’s plan to chop crude

manufacturing and the International Energy Agency’s announcement elevating its international oil demand forecast for 2023.

Price changes have been anchored on the Mean of Platts Singapore (MOPS), which is the pricing reference of the oil corporations within the home deregulated downstream oil business.

Estimates have been made primarily based on the four-day buying and selling common within the international oil market from Feb. 13 to 16.
