MANILA, Philippines — An election officer was shot useless in Maguindanao on Monday, in keeping with the Commission on Elections (Comelec).
Citing an preliminary report from the Philippine National Police (PNP), Comelec mentioned the officer, recognized as Haviv Maindan, was killed alongside National Highway, Purok Libas, Brgy. Pinguiaman, Lambayong, Sultan Kudarat at round 2:30 p.m.

Comelec condemns killing
The Comelec condemned the killing of Maindan.
“His untimely demise left behind his wife and four children, all of whom are still in school, with the eldest in college and the youngest in elementary. They all have lost a loving husband and an ever-doting and caring father,” mentioned Comelec
Maindan has been with the election physique since 2007.
