Michael Irvin Pulled From NFL Network’s Super Bowl Coverage After Incident W/ Woman

Michael Irvin will now not be one of many faces of NFL Network’s Super Bowl protection this week — the previous Dallas Cowboys star who’s was an enormous TV persona has been pulled from reveals following an incident he had with a lady in Arizona on Sunday evening.

Irvin informed the Dallas Morning News the encounter occurred at a resort in Glendale — the positioning of this weekend’s SB LVII — after he had returned to the property following an evening out in town.

Irvin says he spoke with the girl for roughly 45 seconds within the foyer — and described all of it as an nearly fully non-physical interplay.

The lady, although, in line with the DMN, launched a grievance about Irvin’s actions — resulting in the NFLN pulling him from their protection on Tuesday.

Irvin says he is been left “perplexed” by all of it — explaining to the outlet it was such an innocuous dialog, he hardly even remembered it.

“When I received again after going out … I got here into the foyer, and I talked to anyone,” Irvin mentioned. “I talked to this woman. I do not know her, and I talked to her for about 45 seconds.”

“We shook arms. Then, I left. … That’s all I do know.”

He added, “I don’t actually recall that dialog, to let you know the reality. We have been out consuming. It was only a pleasant dialog. ‘What’s up?’ I don’t even know. … I’m completely perplexed.”

An NFL Network exec confirmed to TMZ Sports Irvin is not going to be part of the station’s SB protection this week. But, it stays unclear what the girl alleges Irvin mentioned or did throughout their meetup — as Irvin adamantly denied any wrongdoing.

“What regulation did I break?” Irvin mentioned in line with the Dallas Morning News. “There was undoubtedly nothing bodily. … That’s actually all that occurred. Nobody was in my room. It was a 45-second dialog within the foyer, a handshake and we left. … I don’t know. I don’t know what that is, and it’s operating me loopy.”
