She tells them that she needs to get higher. “I’m not ready to give up,” Tammy says. She needs to get weight reduction surgical procedure.
Chris is a little bit hesitant to consider that Tammy’s actually severe about this. This is the second time she’s been on a ventilator for a number of days.

She started to black out. “I could not breathe at all,” Tammy says. “I was about gone.” Thankfully, the nurse was in a position to suction the mucus plug out earlier than it was too late.
