MANILA, Philippines — Suspended Bureau of Corrections (BuCor) Director General Gerald Bantag will face one other case, this time over an alleged unlawful excavation contained in the New Bilibid Prison compound.
BuCor officer-in-charge Gregorio Catapang on Monday stated the findings of the Department of Environment and Natural Resources confirmed that the excavation within the nation’s primary penitentiary, close to the director basic’s quarters, is “unlawful.”
