‘The White Lotus’: Quebec City launching allure offensive to host widespread HBO sequence


Quebec City desires to host the subsequent season of the favored HBO sequence The White Lotus and the area’s tourism arm is aiming to make it occur.

Destination Quebec City and its promoting company LG2 have created a presentation selling the provincial capital and its greatest belongings as a perfect filming spot, notably the Fairmont Le Château Frontenac.

The first season of the critically acclaimed present was set in Hawaii, and the second season came about in Sicily.

One instance is the South Korean sequence Goblin, which was partly shot in Quebec City in 2016 and nonetheless attracts followers who need to go to filming places — together with a collection on the Fairmont that begins at $1,479 per evening.

“We’re inviting you to our city because we believe Quebec City is a destination extraordinaire,” Mercure says within the presentation, inviting White to go to, including that historic Quebec would give the present “a certain je ne sais quoi.”
