MANILA, Philippines — President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. on Wednesday invited the general public to come back and go to the Malacaang grounds for “Simbang Gabi.”

In a video uploaded on the Facebook web page of first woman Liza Marcos, the president stated the Palace could be open to the general public each evening from 7 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.

“You can go right here. Bring your households, even the kids, earlier than you go to Simbang Gabi,” Marcos stated in Filipino.

He stated company could be handled to “Puto Bongbong” — a play on the Filipino purple rice cake referred to as “puto bumbong,” a conventional Christmas delicacy.
