Blue Beetle, the upcoming DC superhero film starring Xolo Mariduena had a shock panel on Saturday down at CCXP hwere they premiered the brand new teaser poster.
Rumors of delays on social media appear untimely because the Blue Beetle film continues to be on schedule to premiere on August 18, 2023.
Mariduena was readily available together with main girl and Brazilian stunner Bruna Marquezine to advertise the film on the panel.
According to Collider’ Steve Weintraub who was on the panel, attendees bought the poster as souveneir in a protecting sleeve.
Maridueña is on monitor to be one of many few Latino superheroes on the large display, lately he revealed to USA Today that his DCEU makes him intimidated as it’s his first function movie.
“Honestly, it feels like I’ve skipped a few stepping stones. ‘Cobra Kai’ has been such a wonderful opportunity, (and) it feels a little bit intimidating being this is my first movie and it’s in a realm that’s totally different than anything I’ve ever worked on. I’m nervous, but I’m excited. It’s gonna be important, not only for Latinos and to see people of color, brown people, represented onscreen, but also show a story that we haven’t really seen before.”
The Cobra Kai star then went on to disclose that he’s tried on the Blue Beetle go well with and the way the studio hopes to see him change into fitter.
“We’ve done two suit fittings. They’re hoping that I get more buff by the time we actually start filming. But I’ve seen the suit, and it looks awesome.”
Created by Keith Giffen, John Rogers, and Cully Hamner, Jaime Reyes made his first look within the pages of 2006’s Infinite Crisis #5. A live-action model of Jaime made an look within the Superman prequel sequence Smallville, with Jaren Brandt Bartlett taking part in the DC Comics hero.
Directed by Angel Manuel Soto, Blue Beetle stars Xolo Maridueña because the titular character. The movie is being written by Gareth Dunnet-Alcocer with John Rickard producing.
