The election of former Central Bank President Ilan Goldfajn as president of the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) represents the popularity of the platform introduced by Brazil, stated right now (Nov. 20) afternoon the Ministry of Economy.
In a press release, the ministry celebrated the victory, stating that the outcome was achieved after a marketing campaign led by the Brazilian authorities.
According to the ministry, Goldfajn’s administration will concentrate on three priorities: Improving bodily and digital infrastructure, mobilizing personal sources and increasing regional integration, preventing poverty, inequality, and meals insecurity, combating local weather change, and defending biodiversity.
