7:20 AM PT — The Colorado Springs Police Department recognized the suspect as 22-year-old male Anderson Lee Aldrich.

Chief Adrian Vasquez says preliminary proof exhibits the suspect entered Club Q and instantly started capturing. At least two courageous people inside confronted the suspect and fought him in an effort to forestall additional killings.

It seems the gunman is in custody. According to the Club’s Facebook web page … “the short reactions of heroic prospects … subdued the gunman and ended this hate assault.”
A police official confirmed they apparently obtained the gunman … “They did find one particular person who we consider to be the suspect inside. At this time limit, the suspect is being handled, however is in custody.”
Police haven’t mentioned or revealed motive, however the membership itself has already referred to as this a hate crime.
Club Q was internet hosting musical acts Saturday evening, together with its weekly Diva Drag Show.
