John Aniston, a veteran cleaning soap opera star identified for his work on Days of Our Lives, has died, his daughter, Jennifer Aniston, shared Monday morning. He was 89.
According to an Instagram submit, he died on Nov. 11.
“You were one of the most beautiful humans I ever knew,” Jennifer wrote.
“I am so grateful that you went soaring into the heavens in peace – and without pain. And on 11/11 no less! You always had perfect timing. That number will forever hold an even greater meaning for me now.”
According to CNN, Aniston appeared in almost 3,000 episodes of Days of Our Lives. His profession on the cleaning soap opera started in 1970 when he portrayed a personality named Eric Richards. He returned to the forged in 1985 as Victor Kiriakis, a now iconic crime boss.

In 1986, he received two Soap Opera Digest Awards, for excellent actor in a number one position and for excellent villain in a daytime serial.
Last 12 months, he obtained a Daytime Emmy Lifetime Achievement Award.
Although he didn’t seem on the Emmys, Jennifer made a digital look to have fun her father’s profession.
“This is truly a special moment for me,” Jennifer mentioned. “It’s an opportunity to not only pay tribute to a true icon in the daytime television world, but it’s also a chance to recognize the lifelong achievements of a great and well-respected actor, who also happens to be my dad.”
“For over 30 years, his dedication to that show has gained him respect and admiration of his fellow actors, deep friendships and thrilled millions of fans around the world,” she added. “His career is literally the definition of lifetime achievement.”
Aniston’s different appearing credit included Star Trek: Voyager, Gilmore Girls, The West Wing, and Mad Men, amongst others.
Aniston was born on the island of Crete, Greece, however moved with Pennsylvania together with his household when he was nonetheless a toddler. He held a bachelor’s diploma in Theatre Arts from Pennsylvania State University and served as an intelligence officer with the U.S. Navy.
Days of Our Lives shared a video celebrating Aniston Monday.
“Our hearts are broken over the loss of our beloved family member John Aniston,” the present tweeted. “We love you John. Your legend will live on.”
Along with Jennifer, Aniston leaves behind son Alex Aniston and spouse Sherry Rooney. His first spouse Nancy Dow — Jennifer’s mother — died in 2016.
