According to the New York Post, the actual property investor shared his plans to plunge to the depths of the Titanic whereas talking with the Wall Street Journal in an interview revealed on Sunday, May 26.

Connor defined that he and Patrick Lahey, the co-founder of Triton Submarines, plan to take the dive in a “two-person submersible.” The outlet provides that Lahey designed the submersible, which is price $20 million and might make the voyage “repeatedly.”

“I want to show people worldwide that while the ocean is extremely powerful, it can be wonderful and enjoyable and really kind of life-changing if you go about it the right way,” Connor instructed the outlet, per the New York Post.

According to the outlet, Connor urged Lahey to construct the design simply days after OceanGate’s submersible, Titan, imploded underwater in June 2023. At the time, the passengers on the submersible have been additionally en path to the Titanic’s shipwreck.
