Seoul-based gross sales firm Finecut has acquired worldwide gross sales rights to horror thriller Noise forward of the upcoming European Film Market.
Presented by KC Ventures and produced by Studio Finecut (Christmas Carol), the movie is presently in post-production. Finecut will current first-look photos at EFM.
The pic follows a lady with a listening to help haunted by inexplicable sounds linked to her sister’s disappearance and attracting a malevolent presence. The synopsis reads: As the story unravels, a bone-chilling secret and thriller entity are revealed after the unnerving noises. The movie delves into the unsettling problem of ground noise, a prevalent concern in up to date societies.
Noise marks the characteristic debut of director Kim Soo-jin, whose quick movie The Line performed the Cinefondation Selection on the 66th Cannes Film Festival. Lee Sun-bin (Work Later, Drink Now) takes on the function of a lady with a listening to help looking for her lacking sister. Kim Min-seok (Body Parts, Shark: The Beginning) takes on the function of the lacking sister’s boyfriend. The downstairs neighbor is portrayed by Rye Kyung-soo, identified for The Bequeathed.
Recent Finecut gross sales titles embody the drama Victory, directed by Park Beom-su (Red Carpet) and produced by Anna Lee’s Annapurna Films with backing from Mindmark. Set on a distant island, the movie revolves round two ladies who type a cheerleading membership and begin supporting the native under-achieving soccer group.
