The National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences has introduced 4 days of celebrations honoring people within the Daytime and Children’s & Family tv communities.
NATAS-produced Emmy Award ceremonies embody The Daytime Creative Arts & Lifestyle Emmy Awards Luncheon (12:00 midday, Dec. 16), the second Annual Children’s & Family Creative Arts Emmy Awards Dinner (8 pm PT, Dec. 16), and the second Annual Children’s & Family Emmy Awards and Trustees’ Gala (5 pm PT, Dec. 17).
All three Emmy celebrations can be held on the Westin Bonaventure Hotel in Los Angeles. NATAS will kick off the weekend with a personal luncheon to honor its 2023 Daytime and Children’s & Family inductees into the Gold & Silver Circle honor society on Thursday, Dec. 14.
Maury Povich, who was beforehand introduced as a Daytime Emmys Lifetime Achievement Honoree, will obtain his award on the Daytime Creative Arts & Lifestyle ceremony.
The Daytime Emmy nominations had been introduced In April whereas the Children’s & Family nominations had been introduced Nov. 2.
