The 45-year-old actor appeared as a visitor on a current episode of ‘Chris GQ Perry TV.’ The episode was revealed on Friday, September 15. During a portion of the sitdown, the actor shared recommendation for ladies “struggling” to go away a “toxic” relationship.

Mowry started by explaining that she would inform these ladies to first “focus on self-love.”

“Number one, focus on self-love,” she stated. “Meaning, really look deep into yourself. And really get to know yourself — understand yourself, and a lot of that happens in some sort of isolation.”

The actor defined that isolation might embrace meditation, journaling, and “just spending time with yourself.”

“The reason why I say that is because many of the time, the reason that I feel women don’t have the courage to get out of a toxic relationship is because they don’t love themselves — they love that person more than they love themselves.”

Mowry defined that if you “truly love” your self, you “start to understand self-worth, self-value, and what it is that you deserve.”

“And when you are so disconnected from yourself, it is very hard for you to look at yourself as if you’re deserving of something better,” she continued. “But when you really go on this journey of true self-love and tapping into you, and only you. You’ll start to get the courage and the strength to do what it is you need to do.”
