\n There are some fascinating concertos amongst this month’s new evaluations. Mahan Esfahani is the soloist in twentieth century works for a sixteenth century instrument, the harpsichord. Also making what’s previous new once more, in additional methods than one, is a re-mastered recording of Rachmaninov’s piano concertos with Peter R\u00f6sel and conductor Kurt Sanderling, each of whom approached the works in another way than most different performers.
