Jason Momoa has admitted that he was stunned that Aquaman<\/em><\/a> carried out in addition to it did on the field workplace in 2018.<\/p>\n

He added that he doesn’t method roles with the mindset of, \u201cOh, I\u2019m going get $1billion on this one\u201d, and as a substitute simply needs to \u201cdo my best job\u201d.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s not that I don\u2019t care about Aquaman; it\u2019s a wonderful character,\u201d Momoa stated. \u201cAquaman is probably the hardest character in comic book history. He\u2019s made fun of and ridiculed, but I tried to give it heart and soul, and I\u2019m proud of it in certain ways.\u201d<\/p>\n

The sequel, Aquaman And The Lost Kingdom<\/em>, was teased not too long ago at 2023 CinemaCon. It\u2019s launched on December 20 within the US and December 29 within the UK.<\/p>\n

Momoa stated of the 2018 movie\u2019s follow-up: \u201cDo I feel pressure for [the sequel] to do well? No. All I can do is give it my all. But it\u2019s in a lot of other people\u2019s hands.\u201d<\/p>\n

He beforehand informed Variety<\/em><\/a> that he\u2019d co-written the primary story remedy for The Lost Kingdom<\/em> however revealed within the Men\u2019s Health<\/em> cowl story that Warner Bros. Discovery didn\u2019t comply with the remedy utterly.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe beautiful thing [about Aquaman And The Lost Kingdom<\/em>] is me and my partner wrote the first treatment for it and it was about a 50-page treatment, and a lot of it has to deal with me talking to the UN about what\u2019s happening with the melting ice caps,\u201d Momoa stated in January.<\/p>\n

\u201cThere\u2019s no far-off galaxy coming to destroy us or aliens from another place. It\u2019s us ruining our planet. We need to get it together and save our home.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
