Wessex Grove and Underbelly, in affiliation with Shakespeare Theatre Company, Washington, D.C. are delighted to announce that Tony and BAFTA Award-winning\u00a0Ralph Fiennes<\/strong>\u00a0will star as Macbeth and Olivier Award-winning\u00a0Indira Varma<\/strong>\u00a0will star as Lady Macbeth in an intimate new manufacturing of William Shakespeare\u2019s\u00a0Macbeth<\/strong>\u00a0<\/em>which can open in Liverpool this November.<\/p>\n Directed by\u00a0Simon Godwin<\/strong>\u00a0with set design by\u00a0Frankie Bradshaw<\/strong>\u00a0and an adaptation by\u00a0Emily Burns<\/strong>, this new manufacturing will break away from the confines of conventional theatres and as a substitute be staged in 4 site-specific warehouses in 4 iconic cities.<\/p>\n Macbeth<\/strong>\u00a0<\/em><\/strong>will play seasons in\u00a0Liverpool\u00a0<\/strong>(24 November \u2013 16 December 2023),\u00a0Edinburgh<\/strong>\u00a0(13 \u2013 27 January 2024),\u00a0London<\/strong>\u00a0(11 February \u2013 23 March 2024) and\u00a0Washington, D.C.\u00a0<\/strong>(2 \u2013 28 April 2024).<\/p>\n Tickets for the UK dates will go on sale in June.
